Finding the right bra size begins with two simple measurements. When measured correctly, your bra can support you better, improve posture, and make everyday comfort effortless.
Step 1: Measure Your Band Size (Underbust)
This measurement determines your band size — the foundation of your bra’s support.
Stand straight and wrap the measuring tape snugly around your rib cage, just under your bust.
Keep the tape level and comfortable, not too tight and not loose.
Note this number in centimetres or inches.
✔ This number (rounded to the nearest even number if needed) is your band size.
A well-fitted band should feel firm, sit straight across your back, and stay in place without riding up.
Step 2: Measure Your Bust Size (Overbust)
This measurement helps determine your cup size.
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust.
Keep the tape gently resting on your body — do not pull tight.
Make sure the tape stays straight and parallel to the floor.
Note this measurement.
Step 3: Find Your Cup Size
Cup size is calculated by the difference between your bust and band measurements.
Subtract your band size from your bust size.
Each difference usually represents one cup size.
For example:
1 inch (2.5 cm) difference → A cup
2 inches (5 cm) difference → B cup
3 inches (7.5 cm) difference → C cup
4 inches (10 cm) difference → D cup
✔ Your final bra size combines both numbers — for example, 34B, 32C, 36D.
Step 4: Check the Fit Once You Wear It
Measurements give you a starting point, but the final test is how the bra feels on your body.
A well-fitted bra should:
Sit firm and level around your body
Fully hold the breast inside the cups without spilling or gaping
Lie flat at the centre between the cups
Feel comfortable on the shoulders, without digging or slipping
When your bra fits right, it supports quietly and feels almost invisible - Fit First.
